BioA common character in Aesop's fables, Fox uses his cunning and wit towards achieving his goals, though not always with success, as there are times when neither cunning nor wit will carry the day. Fox perserveres though, as only Fox knows how. After all, he might not always win, but he will always learn, and life's lessons will invariably pay off one day...
As a timeless archetype [of sorts], Fox is immortal [as archetypes often are]. He's practical and pragmatic yet silly and playful. He's a study in contradictions who likes to get his way and is frustrated when he doesn't. But he will try again, and sometimes it's the second [or third] time that's the charm. And speaking of "charm" Fox has it in plentitude. If wit won't work charm will, as Crow [The Fox and the Crow] can attest. And even if he doesn't intend to, he can often serve as a teacher for the patrons of the bar. After all, some of life's lessons are learned through the mistakes of others.
And there are enough people in the bar to learn these lessons too.
Fox doesn't mind though; he'll win some day...
